The Story
This Federal Way bathroom remodel transformed a dark, cramped hall bath into a moody, spa-inspired retreat. The original layout, with its dated tub/shower combo and limited storage, never offered the function or style our clients wanted. By removing a wall and reclaiming space from an adjacent closet, we reimagined the floor plan to create a bathroom that finally feels open yet intimate.
The new design features a custom floating walnut vanity topped with sleek quartz countertops, paired with a black herringbone tile backsplash that brings depth and drama. Dimmable LED bath bars frame the mirror, setting a soft glow perfect for both early mornings and late-night unwinding. The walk-in shower is wrapped in moody stone-look tile for a warm, spa-worthy feel, complete with a herringbone niche for essentials and titanium-finish fixtures that add a refined, modern edge. To ground the space, a white encaustic-style floor tile softens the darker elements and ties the design together.
What was once a small, overlooked hall bath is now a calming, spa-like escape where our clients and their guests can truly unwind. We also completed their kitchen remodel, bringing a full transformation to their home.
